Privacy
This policy explains what personal data Tindre collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both this website and the Tindre platform.
Who we are
Tindre is operated by Frontkom Experience AS, organisation number 928 867 277, Torvgaten 64, 1632 Gamle Fredrikstad, Norway. The company is registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises and for VAT. We are the data controller for the personal data described below, except for the content your organization puts into the platform — there your organization is the controller and we are the processor.
Data we collect
Contact data. When you email us or submit the contact form, we receive your name, work email address, organisation, the area you selected, and anything you choose to write. We use it to reply and for nothing else, and it reaches us as an email rather than being stored in a database.
Account data. When your organization uses the Tindre platform, we process the details needed to run your account: name, work email, role, and settings.
Customer content. The knowledge, standards, and other content your organization adds to Tindre belongs to your organization. We process it only to provide the service, under a data processing agreement, with your organization as the data controller.
Technical logs. We keep the logs needed to run the service securely and reliably, such as sign-in events and error logs.
Website analytics. This website uses Vercel Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not track visitors across other websites.
How we use your data
We use personal data to provide and support the service, keep it secure, respond to enquiries, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer content to train models for other customers.
Our legal bases are performance of the agreement with your organization for account data and customer content, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, running the service securely and understanding how the site is used for contact data, logs and analytics.
Where your data is stored
We aim to store and process data within the EU/EEA. Where a subprocessor is established outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses. See our subprocessors for the third parties involved.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Enquiries are deleted within 24 months of our last exchange, unless they become part of a customer relationship. Customer content is deleted or returned when an agreement ends, as set out in the data processing agreement.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and in some cases restriction, objection, or portability. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
